Muscardini (@muscardinicellars) was one of the first artisan wines I had at the start of my journey through wine many years ago. The subtlety, complexity and nuance woke my senses, elevated my appreciation for the artform and ushered me past the point of no return. Back then we (my friends and I) traded unique and obscure artisan wines like rare gems as we marveled at our newfound abilities to see in infinite color as we transitioned from the uninspired monotone, monochrome world of mass produced store-bought wines.
